They came, they lounged, they laughed, and they made hoops! I think everybody left with at least one new hoop, colorfully taped, and with the inspiration to set it spinning. It's all a part of my Master Plan (the one where I overwhelm the world with hoopy happiness...as opposed to my other Master Plans). Thank you to all the Bay Area Hoopers and friends of hoopers who came over to play. You all warmed my house...and warmed me as well. It felt so good to share this sweet little spot with friends on a beautiful Sunday afternoon.
Actually, it was quite warm in the early afternoon, and everyone stayed in the shade. Then a few hours later a chill blew in, and the sun felt nice...and then it got all foggy & gray. The weather here is so odd.
So I was going to post photos yesterday evening, but realized that the laptop (which has the driver needed to download them from the camera) is in Jiwon's office...and then I went to a little party at Sarah's in the Oakland hills (and drank margaritas! and came home late!), and now it's the next morning & it's beautiful outside...so photos will come a little later.
