Jesse Jackson just held a noontime rally on Sproul Plaza. I ate a burrito, basked in the sunshine, and took in the show. Jesse was Jesse, with all the calls-n-repeats & keeping hope alive. Good stuff, and there was a sizeable crowd - much larger than the few hundred who showed up to see Arianna Huffington last Friday.
One of the best things about being at Harvard was that it was such a magnet for visiting intellectuals and opinion-makers. I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to get my fill of mind candy here at Berkeley...but I'm happy to say that appears not to be the case.

He has been a frequent call in on Howard Stern and Howard gives him as much time as he would like. As an editorial comment, people thought that Arnold would be the front runner...once again, the American people were underestimated for the intelligence that they display occasionally. While Harvard may be the mecca for the intelligencia....Berkeley will be intelligent and colorful.
