Amy's barroom birthday
You know those papasan chairs? The round concave cushioned rattan things? Well, they're pretty cozy when you're sharing one with someone. And cozy was just how I was feeling at the Conga Lounge last night. It was Amy's birthday party, and let me tell you now: Amy has great friends, and the more of them I meet, the happier I am.
It was Ariel who lured me into the papasan, and you know what? She's great online, but she's much better in the flesh. And Cheyenne, with whom I also got to spend some quality papasan time, is as well. Better in the flesh, that is.
And for the hardy ones who stuck around until we were kicked out at two, there was hooping in the street. And it was good.
Jason, the pleasure was truly all mine. My only regret is that we didn't get enough time to talk. Or rather, YOU didn't get enough time to talk. ;) I think I used more than my share of the talking time.
Hopefully see you in a couple weeks when Dre & I are up for the Decompression!
