Korean lit's rising profile

David McCann, Jiwon's advisor from Harvard, has arrived in Berkeley to deliver the annual Tompkins Lectures. The lectures will be today and tomorrow, at 5pm, and are open to the public.

And in related news, the Columbia Anthology of Modern Korean Poetry, edited by McCann, has just been published. It includes translations by Jiwon, Ted, Scott and others.
