To the Playa, at last!

I think I'm ready. I've read the Survival Guide and purchased all the provisions and frivolities I'll need for a full week in the Black Rock Desert.

Cellphones don't work out there, so I will be completely incommunicado. Oh, and I think I'll turn off comments for the week, so I don't get hammered by spammers. OK, time to load the car. Hopefully there'll be enough room for Begonia, my passenger, and all her stuff...and I hope the hoop-rack I built for my bike holds together....
