Hundred thousand

Driving back from Esalen, I noticed our car's odometer begin to fill with nines, and then last night, in Berkeley, it hit 100,000 miles!

99% of those miles were with me at the wheel. Have I really done that much driving? Since I got the car (new) upon return from Asia in Fall 1996, I've only car commuted for two years, and that was a mere eight mile roundtrip. Since then, it's been used more or less for travel. I guess there's been a lot of that. Oh, and since it brought me to California in August 2003, it's made quite a few trips across the Bay Bridge, from Berkeley to San Francisco.

I've done all the scheduled maintenance, like a good boy, and the good ol' 1996 2-door Honda Civic EX continues to be completely reliable. Thanks, car!
